Dipples in Norwich had two Dawn Grey Turtles and one of the Dawn Grey Samurai in their window.
They only arrived in this morning and are at the RRP.
There are now one of eachand I have one of the turtles in the 600’s.

Finally picked up my turtle on Friday- they had one samurai left after receiving 25 each turtle/samurai, so 49 watches sold in a week! Had a fantastic day looking at watches in London.

FWIW, I do like Dipples; they typically have a great selection (esp. of Seikos!) of less run-of-the-mill brands or models. Plus, the staff are ever so nice.

Went along and asked if they had a turtle and was told nope sorry sold out even before it’s put in the window.
So I tried the samurai and thought that’s not bad so I bought it while saying it’s a shame they didn’t have a turtle as I would have bought that as well.
Someone in the background must have heard and says they’ve got a allocation of 10 and only 9 came so there’s one more getting delivered that’s coming in and if I paid for it as well it’s mine.
Just waiting on the phone call now.
Oh as of Saturday there’s still a samurai left
Aside from Grand Seiko, they stock everything else in their contemporary range, including special and limited editions such as the limited edition blue enamel presage and green MM300.

I think AD’s may be getting there second and final stock of these, I enquired about one when they came out where I have purchased watches before but they had reserved the watches for other customers for viewing and everyone purchased the watch.
I had a call yesterday to say they had a turtle and a samurai in for me to view, I had enquired about the samurai.
Looking forward to seeing them and if I like one, I will pick one up.
I thought these were all sold out everywhere, forevermore?
My Samurai should be arriving today after a bit of a wait.
Some AD’s did not get there full commitment of watches in one full go, first lot then others to follow on in 4 weeks apparently as it has been explained to me. People who have had there full stock have sold out I expect.
The Dawn Grey Samurai is lovely and you will be very happy with it.
I was in the boutique for nearly an hour yesterday. Great staff as has been mentioned below who love their watches. Tried the snowflake at long last! Tried the brand new in SBGM235 GMT. Was most taken by the SPB075 and SPB073 guilloched Shippo Enamel Presage watch dials, and at the price point they are great value.
I really liked the dial on the Shippo Enamel and I’d consider one, if they did something with the date window. There’s a kind of “sandwich” effect from the layers of enamel that I can’t quite get my head around.

For anyone that’s interested, I believe the Seiko Boutique in Knightsbridge has some Dawn Grey Samurais back in stock: £410 (no turtles though). It might be worth phoning them before you go down there just to make sure. 😊👍
