You should certainly notice the difference on the front although probably not on the rear!
It’s looking good!

Are they tubeless?
Did you consider Kineo by any chance?

That’s a big weight saving at the front , they also look cool as f**k
Looking at the Canyon motorcycles website I don't think they can be tubeless Enoch? All the pictures I can see of their 40 spoke wheels show centrally mounted spoke nipples that protrude into the tyre cavity, I think the tubeless logo on their website must refer to their alloy wheels?
Of course I could be completely wrong which wouldn't be a surprise, but the only tubeless spoked wheels I've seen have rim mounted nipples.
Regardless, they're a very cool set of wheels whether they're tubeless or not and they really suit your bobber!
That’s a massive unsprung weight reduction, should feel very different (better) on the road.
By ‘eck Enoch! Your Bobber, with your modifications is for me, a peach of a bike. Horses for courses I know and I do appreciate every style of bike, of which there are some real doozies on here for sure... but this makes me stop, stare and come back for more. Love what you’ve done.
I love the way your Bobber looks now Enoch, but you must have bolted on as much cost as my entire bike is worth in lovely extras.
Last Photo before Roy and I quieten her down with a home-built silencer, made from Ebay-sourced perforated Stainless pipe and Stainless wire wool, which will fill the larger exhaust sections at the rear. I have experimented with some cheapo baffles, and it will do the job admirably.

Sure looks nice^^
It was at the classic motor hub in Bibury the other day before going on to the NEC.
They had an original Rickman Metisse there, not the cleanest or nicest. But looked a good basis and they seemed keen to sell.
Got me thinking!
Then again, so did the row of 916’s at the show...
I worked in a Ducati main dealer when these were current, they're a total joy to work on which is just as well cos they're high maintenance but also a load of fun to ride. A test ride in summer often lasted for longer than usual!

To spanner on bikes is such a joy, prefer this much more than working on cars, due to accessibility and more options and possibilities to be creative.
Took a R80ST and transformed it "a bit":

Sorry, all about off road for me.
First ride after a decat, replacement tail pipe, ecu flash and proper knobbly tyres.
Rides smoother, grips in the mud, looks nice and sounds flipping awesome!
Heated grips ordered after freezing my *** off today and a new wind shield on the way to. Mud care of Salisbury Plain.
I`ve always assumed Salisbury Plain was completely out of bounds due to all the military action (i have been to Imber when it was open, though) but after having a chat to another biker who goes there often on his trial bike it seems there`s plenty of trails you are allowed to ride on.
Got any tips for riding routes?
Is it just as simple as looking for the BOATS on a map and going for it?
A few changes since I last posted including aluminium flyscreen and lower, darker seat.
I do love this thread, that triumph is looking great!
Its good to go with someone who knows the area really, but there are loads of byways. Just be careful, wardens are monitoring the place and there is a blanket 30mph speed limit on the main tracks.
This is a useful link to find all the legal routes in Wiltshire, shame more councils aren't are like this:

There were loads of 4x4's there this time as well.
For a UK wide network check out the Trans Euro Trail website (seems to be down at the moment though).
It was worth the trip!
^^Cheers, there`s this info,too;

I cant wait to see your new incarnation Enoch. I have no doubt the work will be better than OEM.

I saw this bike only two says ago and it was all in one piece!!!
Also looking fwd to the Speedy thread.
Only a minor modification in the grand scheme of things, but I'm happy with the bespoke clock mounting bracket fabricated by a local engineering shop (ageing gent in a tiny industrial unit with lots of lathes and the like).
Added a Sargent seat pod to the bike yesterday. Took a while to arrive and needed some minor work to the wiring loom under the passenger seat (thanks Howard, but have you got a licence for those tools?)...
The rear subframe will be coming off at some point soon.
