Out of the blue, I got a letter from Sky this week saying they were reducing my monthly bill by £8.38 per month for 12 months from November as a thank you for being with them. I have subscribed for several years.
Anybody else got this?

No but I did negotiate a 50% discount on my package valid for 12 months about 3 years ago, and still have the discount applied now.
I think they are very aware of the threats of BT sport, Netflix, even their own NowTV, so are proactively trying to avoid losing more of their customer base.
