It's a 145.012 from 1967, the version Aldrin was wearing during the moon landing. It was only manufactured in 1967/68 and still has the original 321 movement.

Thanks very much, it's a beautiful piece. I was born in 1969, if I wanted a birth year Speedy what model would I be looking for? I'm new to Speedy ownership, mine's a 2017 model but I'm getting to grips (slowly) with the history.

Sunny day, but gradually lower temperatures here in W. Europe. Also a sunny watch today, HAGWE folks!

You would be looking at a 145.022-69. Beautiful watches, unfortunately prices have exploded during the past couple of years.

    Check out this buyer's guide.

Wearing these two today. SPR 453 LE from 2013, came with a plastic shroud and recently modded with a steel Yobokies shroud.

Dug a watch winder from the back of a cupboard and found this first gen Monster hiding inside.

Came here to see the Smiths 29AM's, not disappointed and will admit to being more than a little envious. '82 Fatboy.

I very much like it, it’s a great size for me, I’m a vintage man at heart, but didn’t want the associated hassle. It was either this or the Oris 65, I’m really pleased I went for the Yema in the end, fair bit cheaper too.

This super accurate Citizen Eco Drive today. Just been timing it over the last few months and it's only 7 sec PER YEAR off.

Awesome for a cheapy watch (circa £150)

I tried on the blue version and also three handler version yesterday. The white wasn’t for sale, which was a pity. Never considered either a white dial or the brand, but that’s now changed!

Dug this out today, seldom wear it but it's different to anything else in the collection. A change is as good as a rest..

I have had this about 2 months and I now understand what all the fuss is about. My other watches fight for wrist time. (But it’s Quartz, I don’t like Quartz)

    Have a good weekend all.
