X33 Gen 1 battery change in London?

Can the borg-like knowledge of this fine forum direct me to the best address to have this done properly next time I go to London please?

Why dont you contact the Omega boutique in Bond Street and see if they will do this while you wait?

I'd be amazed if they didn't insist it go back for a service if, like many of us, it never has because it's working fine and all it needs is a battery. I've had mine from new and it's never been to a dealer or back to Omega and I've done the recent battery changes myself. They may be generous or OP may have had services done but I'd bet they'd be reluctant just to pop a battery in mine!

I'd say Alsal in the Strand should be able to do this - might be worth ringing them in advance to make sure they have a CR2320 in stock (not as common as you might think).
    In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.

X33 Gen 1 battery change in London?

    Thank you all.
I was fearing Bond street for that reason. And the Titanium scares me enough to trust someone who has the right tools and is not cack-handed over doing it myself.
    I shall contact Alsal.

OP. I have a few CR2320 tucked away for this purpose if you need one. Martyn.

Very kind of you to offer Martyn. I would gladly buy one from you, just in case.

Russell Talerman just off Regent Street. I've been very happy with their work and they can pressure test as well, while you wait in their tiny, tiny 'reception' area.

Did mine too, dropped one of the screws. Non magnetic so never found it. £16 for a replacement titanium screw! Still cheaper than getting someone else to do it though.

Marking the screws is my worry.

I have it bookmarked. At some point I'll need to do a Gen 3 and I intend to document that.

Never touch a battery/cell with bare fingers.
    Clumsy battery change IMHO.
