Lovely bit of vintage JLC, well suited on the nato.

What a lovely example of a JLC military watch well used as intended by the purchasing department.
But what a stunning dial and set I’d matching hands.
    Love it

What a find and looks great on the black NATO. You will of course need a selection of straps to swap about. There is a chap on MWR who makes very nice period DEF-3 khaki webbing straps which look great on WWW watches.

Wow. What an incredible find. Looks good on that NATO. I’m sure you’ll have fun trying out other NATO colours.

Nope. I probably could have paid considerably less than I did for it and by that I mean in the tens of pounds) , but being a fairly decent chap and with the money going to cancer research I dug pretty deep and paid a fair whack for it!

I still haven’t had the back off of it to check it’s all in order, but as my wife said at the time I bought it - “if it turns out not to be right, you can sleep safely in the knowledge that you’ve just made a large donation to charity”

There is a thread on here somewhere about when I bought it but I have no idea how to link to it.

That looks awesome and even better that a charity benefited from the purchase. Love the detail on the hands.
