Just downloaded this to all our devices.

Said to fix issue on iPhone XS whereby some handsets would not charge properly when plugged in. My wife’s new phone has this issue, fingers crossed update fixes this!

When I updated to IOS12 my iPhone 7 lost the ability to operate three/way calling. / conference calls. Didn't spot this till I tried making one, when we all spent 30 mins faffing around trying to solve the problem, which eventually fixed by resetting the carrier settings.

Hope the upgrade to 12.0.1 doesn't repeat the problem...

I downloaded it in the middle of the night while at work.
Then couldn’t understand, why when I pushed the bottom left hand tab, I kept getting the smileys 😊
Oh well, I am sure that my brain will soon re-educate itself.

Forbes is the best place for reliable comment on IOS releases I find. 12 was the first I installed on GM release (a week before actually via the beta version GM update) without any qualms rather than wait for point updates.

I absolutely hate the new Siri suggestions is search. ‘Check what’s on teitter’ ‘Send text to so and so’ ‘listen to latest podcast’. Sod odd.

I use search a lot and have previously used apps there but have had to totally switch off Siri suggestions to get rid of this.
