Was tempted this morning. Woke up naturally at 07:28 and it was the first thing I thought of.
Will wait for some pics of those being sent out. I really do have far too many watches though.

I didn't notice that before — what's the rationale for the 4 being in what appears to be a different typeface?

Is this the first G10 watch to have outstanding lume? Been talking to my friend that has a CWC G10 Sapphire and he admits the lume isn't good.

I believe that from past posts Eddie can manage around 10> order completions per day which is why the opening window is short on a Tuesday morning he only takes the amount of orders that he can get out in a week. If you got the purchase notification the despatch notification will be coming no worries.
With the Everest 36mm I was checking my phone every 10 minutes but it came and the wait made it even more worthwhile.
Hopefully you'll get the e-mail today and it will arrive tomorrow.

Mine arrived to day and I’m very pleased indeed, an excellent package.

The watch time was also set bang to the pips on Radio 4, listening on DAB.

    Many thanks Eddie, brilliant service

Couldn't be happier with the new PRS-10. Left the NATO in the (super quality Timefactors-branded) travel case, and immediately popped it on a Timefactors nylon deployant strap. As Eddie advised, it's a snug fit, but works great. I can see this being my everyday watch for a long while. Two thumbs up from me, the wait for a new '10 was well worth it.

Am I right when it seems that the case is a bit beefier than the previous or original version? The sides have a less concave form so there's more 'meat' near the lugs and is the crown cavity a bit wider?
Very happy nonetheless! The watch gained <1 sec last month and therefore it is the second best regarding precision/accuracy in my collection. (PRS-18Q COSC is unbeaten so far )

I especially enjoy a date when the day of the month lines up with the time...... 3rd of the month / date at 3 o'clock. 6th of the month / date at 6 o'clock. Silly I know

I know I'm in the honeymoon stage with this watch, however I am blown away by how legible it is, its build quality, lume, comfort. The Sapphire glass just lifts it above its competitors. Plus mine hits the markers all the way round. I was concerned that my 8 inch wrist would make this look like a boys watch, however it doesn't. The one mm extra it has against the cwc does make a real difference. Thank you Eddie for a real classic.

I recommend the PRS10 to my friend Louise and she bought it when TF was last open. Eddie got it despatched very quickly, awesome service as usual but especially in such difficult times. Had the pleasure of trying it on yesterday. Still think it's too small for me but it's lovely and the lume is great. She loves it. We were talking about watches for a long time last night, she's definitely on the way to becoming a WIS.

    And on her skinny wrist

I've never been a fan of tritium tubes, they usually look so blocky, but this pulls them off nicely. I'm not so convinced by the contrast between orange and green - perhaps a green triangle?

This watch does not have tritium tubes.

I noticed that, but then also noticed it was posted on April 1st, so presumed it was an April Fool!

I love my PRS-10, by the way, and think it is one of Eddie’s real bargains. Mine lives on an Erika’s original in black.

I finally picked one of these up used of eBay last week and it's a great watch, very impressed with the build quality for the money and puts the 3 cwc g10s I had to shame. I dont even mind the date and have found myself using it more than I thought

    PRS-10 Stock

Does anyone know if these will be in-stock for the Sunday shop opening?

Doesn't say sold out on the site, so I'm hopeful!

You almost need two watches - a gentle upgrade of the old PRS-10 with a flat sapphire crystal and different font, and this new design.

I’m not clear why the new design needs a NSN, and how the NSN can be switched between very different watches?
I agree with this. A slight facelift for original G10 would be best. It is a classic, you don’t want to mess about with it too much. From my perspective, new G10 looks like a mix of different ideas that doesn’t hold together. I admire the innovation though. I would put a diver bezel on it and go for German flag colours. Black nato. Call it G10-D or something.

Love my PRS-10, case design details and fine case finishing is just superb, (selling my Hamilton Khaki mechanical as case is bid blasted too coarse and not visually good where it joins sapphire) crisp contrast of printed details to the mat black dial gives that vibe of hard to explain beauty, domed sapphire, 100M with screw down crown, is just cherry on the cake! It's great on grey or black TF nato, but when I tried it on 100M Hirsch strap it went class up!

So is the watch dial 1mm bigger than the CWC G10 or does the extra size come from the width of the steel bezel? Cheers.
