Lovely and rather unusual combination in the same litter. Must have a good diversity of tomcats around

We had a British Blue for 18 years, but lost her last year, which was devastating. Picked up another earlier this year. She's a year old next week and just gorgeous, with incredible copper eyes...

I'm happy that people are loving their cats - means I don't have to have another! Had five cats over the years but I am now allergic to the blighters.

Another cat lover here. A Maine Coon called Frankie (short for Frankenstein - Lister's cat from Red Dwarf).

This old girl decided to adopt us about 8 years ago, embarrassingly refusing to go home, we think she was neglected and when a new cat was introduced that was the last straw for her.

We think Charlie Maio is 18 so getting on a bit, lost some teeth, sleeps most of the time now and more worryingly recently she’s refusing to use the cat flap and started peeing in the house in hidden areas, I understand this is not a good sign. But I’m hoping a litter tray is the answer...

Saved cats are your best friends. No reason to buy any, there are too many abandoned, mistreated and so forth. And mixed-race former ferals are often quite beautiful, too.

Sometimes, a cat needs a fluffy toy herself, too... ;-)

Love this thread. Always had a cat when growing up, but Freddie the spaniel is too selfish for housemates!

    Some great pictures!

She looks lovely. Her coat looks amazing. Do you do anything with her coat to maintain it? We are just rank amateurs and brush her with a pair of those rubberised glove with little nipples on which remove dead hair.

Loving all the beautiful cats on here, it’s rapidly turning into the British Shorthair Blue thread, so here is my wonderful Max; love him to bits.
