O/T - Clocks - Anyone Know of Any 31 Day or 365 Day Mechanical Clocks?

Looking for a Bracket/Mantle/Table clock for a property I use several days a month:

    - 'Mechanical' (fusee?) with an audible 'ticking' movement (so, not JL Atmos)
    - Nice proportions, clean design (not too fussy), c.15-25cm tall
    - Probably antique but may consider contemporary
    - 'Chime' nice but not essential

Plenty of '8-days', and seen a '365-day', but just wondered what else might be out there?

    thanks

    Month running mantle clock

    Lurker but first post

Oakside clocks list only one month long running mantle clock which is just 1mm higher than requested

I have visited several years ago and they are very pleasant friendly people

Thank for that link - interesting

Atmos nice, but for the location I have in mind, I want to hear the beating heart of a mechanical movement.

One month and 12-month going clocks are pretty unusual as longcases, let alone mantle clocks. You tend to recognise a month going longcase by the position of its winding hole. I can't think of any month going mantle or table clocks I've seen recently. That's not to say they don't exist, but I would have thought they were pretty unusual.

Thanks for the replies, so far.

I saw this 365-day French mantle clock the other day

Nice dial, but a bit large and the case is rather ugly

This contemporary 14-day clock is quite attractive, but would prefer 30-day and 'period'.

Would love to find a mechanical desk clock that I can play with. That doesn't cost a fortune!

I bought a clock kit from Wooden Times but haven't gotten around to putting it together.

The only other thing I can think of is a cuckoo clock, but that needs to be mounted to a wall.

I wouldn't mind a pre-cut self assemble mechanical clock kit.. The only one I've found that's affordable is this Ugears 20 Minute Timer

And incase you think I'm taking the proverbial.... I bought one a while back. Good fun to assemble, loud, and can keep reasonable time.

Get an Atmos and a metronome. Wind up the metronome and let it run at 60bpm whenever you are in the house.

    This demonstrates genius.

    Atmos

In the end I did get a Jaeger Le Coutre Atmos, from a specialist restorer in Chelsea.
I wanted something ‘mechanical’ that requires minimal attention week after week. Highly delighted - it is a beautiful item, and so clever and precise. However, I’ll pass on the metronome.

Hope you like it, I think they are amazing and hope to have one someday. Any chance of a link to the specialist you got it from?

Carlton Clocks of Amersham might be able to help. They have an impressive selection of restored clocks in their showroom with some impressive price tags too.

    I bought mine here:

    https://www.gutlin.com/atmos

Nice traditional clock shop, carrying out repairs and servicing to one side and lots of interesting clocks displayed for sale. Run by very helpful and informative father and son. Might be in Chelsea, but excellent 'old fashioned' feel and atmosphere.

Thanks, I have come across their website whilst browsing but it is great to have a recommendation.
