    Repairing a Tissot T-Touch

I have one of the original Titanium T-Touch, it was the first present my wife bought me 15 years ago, so has a heap of sentimental value.

It’s been my go to watch for many things, not least travel for the dual time zones (if I don’t want to take a GMT). It’s also survived a big motorbike crash with me!

The bottom half of the touch screen has stopped working (nothing to do with the crash!) and Tissot say they can’t repair it as they don’t keep the parts anymore.

Does anyone know any places I might be able to get it fixed?

You need to first figure out the ETA movement number, it might be a ETA E.40.305 for example, then search for that rather than Tissot.

Ah, a good idea. I will do that now, however it’s not the movement that has gone wrong. The bottom half of the touch screen has stopped working.

So you are right, it is the ETA E40.305 by the looks of things.

There's this thread on WUS about complete disassembly: https://forums.watchuseek.com/f62/ti...ns-251413.html

Sadly the touch screen seems to be problematic at best, so a repair might not be practical.

If you want to replace the entire watch there's one currently on eBay, but buying the entire watch seems a little excessive: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/401572426526

Don’t worry, I’m majorly guilty of that....

I’ve sent you a pm, I have one to use as a donor.
