I've made it to 2.5 times but this is seriously impressive. Very wide stance though isn't it? Obviously it works for her!

I can understand developing muscles capable of the lift; but, what must that load do to the joints? Especially so when lifting weights above the head. I can't help but think long term damage must occur.

I deadlifted 110kg on the hex bar yesterday, which is 1 X bodyweight for me.

    Feel quite underwhelmed now lol.

Did manage 7 reps if that counts for anything.

    She's a beast

Not taking anything away from her but she has great leverage being that short, I can do 1.5x body weight and would like to get to 2x but the risk of injury is high (at my age)

Sumo stance. Gives you potentially up to 10% more capability and wider hips/lower stature are an advantage.

Think I could have done more by fingers started to hurt at that point.

However, yesterday I managed a 80kg bench press, 5 sets of 5 reps. I did struggle a little on set 4 and 5.

Anyway I hope to hit 150kg deadlift on the hex bar soon!

Yup I didn't realise Sumo stance was good for very heavy weights but I see how with a certain body shape it could provide extra leverage and certainly the bar moves less distance giving the impression of increased strength, bit like the decline bench press.
