Hi all!
Re found this Compu Chron whilst rooting around, put in batteries in and voila.
Anyone else like these as a bit of fun?

I think if you wore one of those today it would still impress your workmates and friends.
Back in the day the pulsar was more expensive than a sub. Love to find one of the originals.

I suspect I’ll pick up the Omega ones and maybe the Pulsar classic at some point.
Some of the more outlandish Omega LCDs too.
Just the one TI, but the LED won’t stay on long enough to take a picture. Bought years ago NOS from Argentina.

Here are mine:
Omega Time Computer 2
Beltime
Synchronar
I always associate LED displays, especially the larger chunky ones, with one of my favourite Douglas Adams quotes.
“Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the western spiral arm of the Galaxy lies a small unregarded yellow sun. Orbiting this at a distance of roughly ninety-two million miles is an utterly insignificant little blue green planet whose ape-descended life forms are so amazingly primitive that they still think digital watches are a pretty neat idea.”
That's a beauty.

I like my Elektronika-1. Not Omega quality but I enjoy it.
