    PRS-36 strap choices

I know this could go in L,R&N but it's really more about the watch than the strap, so it's here.
I've loved the 36 since I bought it, I think four years ago now but it may be more. It's such a classy thing, and so handsome. Gets no end of love from people. But I've always struggled to find the right strap for it. It has that 60s vibe but is not really retro so much as a modern take on retro. Anyway, solved it: W&W Peanut suede number just works wonderfully on it - has that slight 60s vibe whilst being contemporary - like the watch.

That does look extremely nice 😎

Odd how the PRS-36 doesn't get more attention on the forum

Just that. Personally I think it's Eddie's best. Certainly it's the watch I wear which gets the most questions and praise from non-watchie (or at least not as watchie as all of us) friends, and indeed offers to buy it (I send them to Eddie, where a few have bought one). Not sure why it gets overlooked here as much as it does, it's a gorgeous thing.

Lovely combination. You could post it on the “perfect strap” thread on watch talk as I think it needs more exposure!

Nice looking watch! The strap looks good but not so sure on the metal keeper.

As I live in Greece: wintertime the original Smiths strap ...
summertime: an NOS 1962 Eulit tropical strap in woven grey, VERY comfortable!
    Greetings, Jo.

Looks great on the suede, the 36 really is a corker. Mine is on a Darlena 1305.

You can see the strap's texture a bit better here. It really suits the watch IMO.
