Yup, I'd be happy with that combo too, or the orange dial with black bezel. For me this is the most eagerly anticipated TZ release ever.

Any strong dial colour like orange or yellow really needs a black bezel to keep it all in balance ... same colour bezel is simply too much of a good thing ...

I am in the opposite camp.
Black bezel looks like the lazy "black goes with everything" option to me, if you're going to have an orange watch, then an orange bezel is the perfect accompaniment. Same with the gold.
And when originals look like this

    and this

    Then why have different?

Thanks for the reply Eddie, hope you are still recovering well, and enjoying the festive season, even if the Prototypes haven't been delivered yet.
    Cheers

Second that. Hope the recovery is going well. I think you know the pent up demand for the Caribbean on the forum! It will come in good time.

Got pictures of the prototypes this morning, he's used an early render for the dials and it's not what I want so he's doing them again. Prototypes delayed for at least a month. This is why I do prototypes, it's stops me getting hundreds of watches with the wrong dials.

    Thanks for the update Eddie
    How frustrating for you.
Looks like it is the watch that screams "summer watch 2020" rather than "summer watch 2019"

At least it gives me time to save up, following my recent unexpected Seiko spend.
