Yes it’s a huge price. In fairness it is a very early serial. Although this wouldn’t justify the price. What about lot 77 ??

I'd like to say what kind of moron would pay that much ?....... but it's just as likely that another buyer with unlimited means and even less interest in watches will come along in 12 months and pay them £30,000+ plus.

Yes absolutely. Amazing how little you can get a perpetual calendar from one of the greats in a precious metal. 4 yellow gold AP perpetual calendars or 1 steel Rolex sports watch that isn't even particularly rare

Didn't realise any model apart from the SD came with the screwdriver. We know the screwdrivers are difficult to get hold of so maybe it's £7,500 for the watch and £20,000 for the screwdriver.

Some really interesting historical pieces in lots 27 - 40, particularly lot 38, what a beautiful watch.

Wow what a mad price. Some cracking watches on there, not many bargains to be found though.

There's a buyers premium on top of those sold prices of 20-25%

The figures include the 25% buyer premium, but not the VAT on the buyer premium.

Can't see why this was so much. I know GMT Masters are on the rise, but this seems excessive.

I’m struggling to view it on a phone screen, but it looks like a stick dial. Those, especially if with a 3186 calibre movement, are sought after.

spot on, 3186 movement it says. Not clued up enough about Rolex to know, but I struggled to understand the price as well.

The biggest mistakes I ever made was selling two 16610LV and a 16600 from my collection.

I believe it is a stick dial.

From memory the stick dial is two || instead of the two in Roman Numerals after GMT-Master writing.

Hindsight hurts on that one, but if these are your biggest mistakes in life you're probably doing alright.
