I agree in the sentiment, but some of those spats are an entertaining guilty pleasure. It amazes me how some (I’m sure I’ve done it too) get so worked up over luxury trinkets, in the end it means nothing.

Maybe you’re right, our spats are better than theirs anyway!
If you like some real spats try hifi forums - they are just as bad, or even worse, than TZ. It's sometime tempting to join in but I prefer to sit back and enjoy the light entertainment, it can brighten up a dull day.
