I believe Boss do a range of cuts for different builds- Boss Orange/green etc
Might be worth a look?
I have heard they’re not quite what they were in terms of quality though

Hi all
Sorry I don't want to be too up my own back-side but I am genuinely struggling to find well fitting clothes on the high street. I have been really watching what I eat this last 6 months combined with stepping up my Callisthenics and strength training. I am now finding it near impossible to buy clothes that aren't so tight around the chest/back/shoulders that feel as if they want to rip which aren't massive around the waist. I'm around 40-42" Chest and a 30" waist. 5'9" and 74kg. My PT is well pleased with my inverted triangle physique but most clothing is for ironing board physiques!
I cannot buy shirts as my arms won't fit, it's getting silly. Even 'muscle fit' clothing doesn't fit right. I wouldn't mind but I'm far from being Arnie and a mile away from a body builders physique.
Any suggestions would be very welcome.
First world problems I know but I don't want to try so hard to get in shape and resort to wearing XL baggies.
Thanks in advance and please go easy on the pee taking

Just wear tracksuits
30" waist ? thats slim .Just go shopping and keep trying clothes on .Flannels has a good choice of clothes , good luck .
Outdoor stores such as Brigham-Ellis, Cotswold are a good place to start- technical clothing is excellent for urban wear and some manufacturers cut garments specifically for athletic builds - reading the customer reviews helps. One of those sites also asks you your age, height, weight and body shape so as to recommend the best size

Armadillo clothing. Superb!
I’m not sure what ‘casual clothing’ is. Doesn’t one’s tailor make clothes that fit?
The title gives away that I safely skip this thread...
I’m a 54” chest and very broad across the shoulders and have always found Ralph Lauren a good fit, likewise Hilfiger but Lacoste is way too small in the arms
When I was a 30” waist, a good few years ago, I often got sent to the boys department as men's trousers started at 32”.
Baggy stuff is now slim-fit on me!
I’m about 46 inch chest and find Ralph Lauren fit well

I have an athletic build. Russian female weightlifter circa 1965......
I find Uniqlo good. I've a 34" waist and a 44" chest (mostly a broad back). They have a sizing chart where you can input height, weight, build, age, and I find it fairly accurate to find a decent fit.
There must be something going wrong with the sizing for menswear. I’m 6’2’’, about 17 stone, 18’’ neck - recently ‘graduated’ to 38’’ waist trousers - and what my doctor describes as ‘the classic rugby player physique’ which throws the bmi thing out the window to an extent. I’m by no means huge - by that I mean not hugely tall or fat, I used to be a gym goer but not for a good 10 years (as you can tell!) - but in the last few years I regularly try on shirts, jumpers and jackets that I can’t get my arms into - actually I can barely get my hands through them! - I do a desk job, I don’t have huge arms - what’s going on?! - is it manufacturers skimping on fabric, are men in the uk shrinking (my sons tall friends would suggest not!) - ok I’be put on a stone or so in the last few years but not in my arms??!!
And don’t get me started on trousers - you can get all the waist sizes easily up to 36’’ waist with a 34’’ leg, go up to 38’’ waist and suddenly they only go up to a 30’’ leg. So getting a bit fatter assumes you suddenly get shorter?! I’m going to have to lose weight otherwise I’ll be stuck in shorts throughout the winter

Lulu Lemon. Their yoga pants really have a lot of stretch in them .
