    Think of it like this...

Can you walk into a Renault dealership and buy a nice new Lamborghini?

Come on man. Harrods and Tudor have got their heads together and come up with a special edition HARRODS Black Bay. Why would Harrods do this then allow it to be sold in Ernest Jones? It's their very own super duper special edition.

And on the other side of that why would Ernest Jones stock a watch promoting another shop?

    * Ernest Jones used for illustrative purposes as an example of a shop.

If You can’t get on the list, you could try the Tudor Ratners BB.

I hear they are cheaper - about the price of a prawn sarnie apparently.

Go to Harrods and join the list.
They’re currently quoting around 18 months. If you don’t want to wait, you’ll get one for around the £4K Mark.

They are only available new from the harrods store, you will need to go on a list.
As of today there are 1500-1600 names down with a waiting time of around 2 years.
    The list is still open.
    Good luck

Reckon this one is a slow burner, give it 5
years or so and today’s prices would have seemed pretty reasonable.

List at Harrods is still open, not a limited edition, just an exclusive version if you want to call it that? They also have a collaboration with Bucherer, that one has a much shorter waiting time.

Totally, will be interesting to see if they actually stop the production at some point.

They have called it a limited production run. They just didn’t cap the numbers. If I was to guess 1500-2000 sounds about right. Pure speculation of course

Interesting - my friend who collected mine asked if he could go on the list and they told him they weren’t taking any more names at the moment

That must be new then, was in harrods a couple of weeks ago and they were still open to taking names. I’d put my name down on the phone about two months ago, hoping they got the details right !

    Harrods black bay.

Plenty of these available for around the 3.5 k mark. Was looking to buy. Decided on standard model at 2k. Leaves a chunk towards next watch. If it was a limited edition of
1500 available only from Harrods I would have paid the extra.
    Regards Paul.

    Limited edition.

I suspect the list will remain open for as long as orders are taken. Could be wrong. Suspicious by nature. A limited edition should mean limited to x number of pieces.
No re releases. They are a lot of money extra for a green bezel.
    Regards . Paul the suspicious.

This watch is not a limited edition it a SPECIAL EDITION i.e. no limit. It could go up to 10,000 over the next ten years only Harrods and Tudor know.

A little off thread but what are the other special editions? I saw Tudor Bucherer BB advertised on the grey market earlier today which sported an all blue livery

Just picked mine up and it’s in the high 900s for reference. Looks awesome in the metal. The bezel is a really nice soft green.

From what I’ve read online, production of the Bucherer model will cease after this year.

Take it the green Harrods BB is preferred to the Bucherer blue version?

Of course, was just wondering if there was a general preference and if so why.
Obviously I've arrived late at the party and maybe the rush for Bucherer had been and gone - just curious I guess.
