As the OP said 5% on average, is there anymore detail about which models are changing by what, or is it a blanket 5%?

Rolex are very coy about announcing price increases, they're hardly likely to release details! The few people who do know will be under strict orders to keep the info to themselves.
If I had to speculate I`d expect the steel sports models to increase most, no prizes for guessing that.
Won't concern me, the only Rolex I'd consider buying is the OP36, but that'll probably go up by £200.
If the £ strengthens against other currencies (I think it will eventually) does that mean prices will come down one day?..........hell would freeze over first!
About time!! I would rather the prices go up which along with the warranty card retention will also help stop the flippers...well maybe. Who knows!

I’m actually on Holiday in Aruba which is an watch lovers paradise, stores galore - Rolex AD here are one of the big hitters in the Caribbean and they told me earlier that 100% there will be a price increase sooner rather than later. Last year you could of had SS Sub date and ND quite easily here but even the AD cannot get gold of anything SS which has hit them massively as Aruba is a cruise ship destination.

Any of us who have worked in retail management know "a bird in the hand...etc". They may have been able to make a little more on it after October 1st but they still have month-end and quarter-end targets to hit in September and a big sale at month end helps make everyone's job just a little easier.
I ordered my BLNR last month with a £1000 deposit, will they charge me the price when ordered or the price when I collect?
If your AD honours pre increase price this is amazing.
On a DJ or similar they may do it, but on something like a BLNR I’d be really surprised if the price is locked in.
I’d actually see if they let you prepay a Daytona in full now too. I’d do that in a heartbeat if they let you lock in current price.

I was in an AD this evening (central London) they said they hadn’t had any stock for 3 weeks due to the price increase, and weren’t expecting any until October

Can I ask if the central London Ad's you visited were all part of the big chain of stores FH etc
The reason I ask is when i was trying to purchase an OP39 (black) last week I rang all the well known London store's and several in surrounding areas and none had anything available but all mentioned the pending price rise.
I was however able to purchase one eventually and also locate one for another member which was also located in London. I appreciate these are not the high in demand professional range but if you were to listen to the big group of AD's they are quoting 5 months for an OP in white or black when they are clearly available.
Do you think the big AD's may just be holding back pending the price rise?

Apparently my BLNR had been ordered by another customer, but despite being contacted 3 times, failed to show up.
I was also offered a TT Submariner.
And 2 weeks ago a 126711CHNR. All of which had been turned down by other customers.
Was told yesterday it's going to be between 5-8%
From goldsmith's
Well that looks like the ceramic Pepsi GMT is even further away.
So happy I bought a 16710 now.

They have us exactly where they want us. Clamoring to join lists, I am surprised the increase is only 5-8% considering all the madness outside of the AD networks.

Thanks for the info Haywood, not too bad. £300 on a blnr, £500 increase on a steel skydweller. Not too severe an increase..
Thanks for sharing Haywood. Am I presuming the pre-owned market will rise on this tide as well?
A quick summary of the 34/36/39mm OP price changes would be handy when you get a minute, Haywood.
As always thank you Mr Haywood Sir.
Been eyeing up a diamond dial DJ41. Might as well pick it up today rather than wait and pay £8800

Thanks Haywood. So even after the increase, prices are still cheaper than the rest in Europe. So nothing should really change in terms of SS availability. Only Rolex will make more profit.
