True but there were some APs that went for reasonable prices today even when factoring buyers premium + tax.

That’s including buyers premium + tax. Still ridiculous

Do they round up the figures for prices achieved ?
    My understanding would be Southebys charge 25% + Vat @ 20% = 30% gross commission ?

So the Watch achieved £21,154 ? Seems an odd number.

Apologies it doesn’t include tax! Total price including tax would be £28600

It’s mad money for an old sub but has a tropical dial and it’s a very desirable model.

The LV sale is interesting too. I wonder if this buyer just wants to have a nice example, or whether they think they’ll turn it around for more money down the line.

Haywood, that’s nothing, I sent my Lv off for a service and it came back with a different bracelet浪浪

As my LV is in need of a service I wonder what would happen if I put an aftermarket (or even standard Rolex Black bezel insert in and then sent it in ?

I can confirm the change back to flat 4 seems to be a fact. I received a blistered flat 4 insert today with -14 article number.

This should have interesting effects on the LV market...

What an odd and completely unexpected change of events. I better start taking a bit more care of the insert on my M serial LV as it has now become harder to replace.
