    Southampton Accomodation

    Dear all,

Currently wading through AirnB and other searches for the above mentioned.

Any recommendations in the Southampton area, within walking distance of the city centre / marina would be good and reasonable price per night if possible.

Any experiences good and bad please.

    Best regards,

    Ben

Depends on how you define reasonable, there's the Travelodge and Premier Inn within a short walk of the centre or if your after something better the Grand Harbor Hotel.

The Harbour hotel in Ocean Village is very nice. Stayed there around 10 days ago. Not cheap though!

Depends on your price range but the Pig In The Wall is nice and is a very short stroll from the centre and also the Oxford Street area of bars, pubs and restaurants.

The Pig In The Wall is rather nice. If you want really nice though just stay in Winchester in the Wykeham Arms, Hotel Du Vin or Old Vine and catch the train to Southampton (about 15 minutes).

    Hello

Some good suggestions will have a look. It’s a two night stay for a Uni Reunion. Should be quite civilised as we are all in our 40’s so won’t be smashing any hotel rooms up.

Stayed in the grand harbour earlier this year. Was well impressed, nice hotel and good value for money. Pretty central also.
