    Servicing a 2824/light case polishing

    My daughterís 1990s Tudor Oyster Prince Date could do with a movement service (2824) and a light case and bracelet refinish. Itís running fine, but must be overdue some TLC. Confirmed water resistance would be nice, but she wears it like a vintage watch so that is not essential.

    Id like it to be serviced by a forum regular, so who would folk suggest, and what sort of costs and timescales am I looking at to get it in? Thanks for any thoughts.

    I can certainly recommend Brendan, webwatchmaker here.

    He has restored several watches for me, including my wifeís Datejust.

    Most recently he brought back to life both a Baume & Mercier for me, and an Omega for my wife. The whole process for both watches took about two weeks. Brendan can advise the costs, but suffice to say I found them very reasonable. Both watches are performing faultlessly and keeping excellent time.
