    Planet Ocean on Mesh

So I acquired the steel mesh on here recently for my Titanium PO hoping the it would suit the watch given the 2 different metals.
I think it looks well but I had to perform a little surgery on it to make it fit. It was a 20mm bracelet but couldn't get the springbars to lock into the watch.
Now I know it doesn't look 100%, far from it and I'll probably try and tidy it up a bit but thought I'd let you all see it, firstly for the look and secondly for my butcher work on it.
Let me know your thoughts and and any advice for putting it 100%.

    Cheers folks.

No not for me, I always think that the omega mesh looks scruffy at the lugs, nice watch though it works lovely with the oem blue rubber if you want a change.

Have the deployant and blue aftermarket strap. You're right about it at the lugs though. Which I think was part of the problem to start with.

It's not bad. I have an old chrono on shark mesh with seiko fat springs. Just make sure nothing can scrath the watch.

Yes far better, that’s like the ocean racer mesh on the Breitling, hides those springbars!

Trying new things is cool! I once tried a yellow lizard skin on a super avenger! Looking back that was an epic fail

Second that the lugs always appear unfinished.

Would a large shoulderless springbar help?

Not sure they would fit through the mesh links mate.
People are correct in that it does look a little unfinished but that's how omega have made it so I can kindof live with it on that bases.
It's just a pity there was no link type piece that would cover up the lug end of the bracelet and maybe go as far as curve round the case as well, so the mesh disappears. A bit like the ploprof. Hope I've explained that correctly.

I was fully prepared to think “no, not for me”, but (and ok it would benefit from tidying up) actually I think it works very well.

Not sure what the fit would be like on this particular watch but (aftermarket) mesh bracelets are available with curved ends....

Yeah that's not a bad idea actually but I prefer oem. Can't help it.
