Where are you traveling to?
Have a look at local prices. You might find that they are a lot cheaper than UK duty free prices. That’s definitely the case in Spain where the prices are fixed nationally.
Can anyone tell me whether there is a decent place to get Cuban cigars duty free in terminal 3? I don’t want to take my travel humidor empty for it to remain so!
Cheers

I’m off to Brazil and won’t get the chance to find somewhere local.

I thought all the terminals had something to a degree, from a cabinet to something much larger. Certainly with watches I’ve had the omega boutique meet me at the terminal I’m traveling from with a watch.
Not sure if they would bother with cigars, but can’t imagine you couldn’t get them transferred from another terminal, but worth asking. Obviously you won’t get to browse a selection that way though. Might offer a potential solution, a form of buy & collect.

I've found Heathrow cigars to be underwhelming ie not in the best condition
They don't allow you to inspect them before purchase but will refund if you're not happy. But who can be bothered with that
Never bothered with Heathrow DF cigars, France, Spain etc offer well kept well priced ones, bought once a pack of 4 partagas as a present and as I was offered to smoke one it wasn't the best one I had.. Brazil should have a vibrant trade with Cuba, so you may be able pick up locally ones in a cheep.. Just saying.

I just remember it being a real pain getting Cubans in Salvador last time. Plenty of Brazilian cigars but if I remember rightly the Cubans were quite expensive.
Maybe I’ll get a few in London and risk getting them there.
Thanks for the replies.

Decided to get a few from my local supplier and get some Brazilian ones over there. Support the local economy and all that....

I purchased some Davidoff and Montecristo in T3 in late August. It's a similar range to what is available in the other terminals at Heathrow, and easy to miss the entrance to the bizarre spaceship like room that they keep them in.
