You could save yourself a few quid and pick something up off ebay similar to this one of mine - a lot of the 7T32 Seiko chronographs have a 30 min sub-dial.
Hello,
I need to send my 90s omega speedy reduced off for service so i would like suggestions for a chronograph to replace it in the short term and to wear in rotation as well when i get the reduced back.
Now, my requirements are a 30 minute dial and an hour dial.
I find the 60 minute dial too hard to read nowadays so the 30 min is a must.
Unfortunately a fair amount of chronographs have 60 min dials.
A simple easy to read watch thats 42mm or less and comes on a bracelet.
Date would be nice but not a deal breaker.
So any suggestions for a watch that is at most 1.5k but the brakes start to come on at around the 1k mark and a £500 option would be great/
Buying Second hand is okay for me.
thanks for your time
Martin

Do these strike your fancy...

Or if you could find one of these on the 2nd hand market, not sure the price mind you...
Both the seiko and hamilton sadly miss the hour hand requirement.
I have a pogue for the 30 mins dial but need to track a few hours for various things.
Seiko 6138
The 6138 does look interesting but I am not sure of the size of the ufo. Is it 42 or 44mm. Varies depending were you look
Longines Conquest Chrono perhaps?

Any ETA 7750 or 7753 based movements have a 30 minute sub-counter; from Hamilton to Panerai and a lot more.

I ended up with a junkers bauhaus quartz chrono for £220 off ebay.
Here is a possible alternative.
This is powered by a Lemania 1873 - yes, the Speedmaster Professional movement, in this case re-tasked NOS from Paul Picot.
There is a seller on Chrono24 selling these with 3 possible dial options (black, white or reverse panda), all for less than £800 if you ask for best price.
And it is 100m waterproof too, with display back.
I can't think of a better chronograph for the money, at present, and would certainly have bought one if my money were not used up elsewhere.
The only downside from the OP brief is that it is neither auto, nor quartz,
