    divers extension

    hi all

im just wondering if the divers extension link is usually removed on the Rolex sd43 as I bought one and when I took it for sizing the store made a right hash and did a little damage..............I did see that some people have had it removed....I wont be using it over a wet suit so should it have been?

It is not normally removed but some with smaller wrists prefer it to be removed to improve the comfort.

Fortunately my wrist is OK with it but I could see it being an issue.

I know some ADs don't/won't remove it while others have no issue with doing so, it is pretty easy to do yourself and sizing the bracelet even easier.

If the store damaged it I'd be demanding a new one.

I’ve bought two SeaDwellers from the same AD. They couldn’t manage to remove the first divers extension but RSC happily did. For the second one I just took it straight to RSC.

I took my DSSD back to Crouch in Cardiff last Saturday to have mine removed ... the sales fella took the watch to the back room and returned saying 'it was an unusual request and the chap doing the work was not confident of removing it and there was potential for damage to the bracelet' .. he'd have a go at it as long as I understood that ........ I said thanks but no thanks and left

Maybe I was lucky but I managed to removed the diver extension on my SD4c the other day, in preference to a standard link, with no issues at all.
