Post your Omega Aqua Terra pictures !

I'm considering changing my PO for an Aqua Terra 150m, specifically the 231.10.42.21.02.001 or 231.10.42.21.02.002 or 231.13.42.21.02.003

Please post pictures of yours, I'm interested in real work pictures and also, the silver dial, it is more silver than white? The pictures I'm looking at via google make it look more white than silver.

    Thanks :)

Not one of the ones on your list but love the golf with the green detailing.

The 'skyfall' is the pick of the bunch IMHO...

Very similar to the current edition but with a framed date window and without polished centre links on the bracelet.

I can't remember the model number of the AT I used to own. It was the white/silver dial you refer to tough. It's certainly white more often than it is silver.

It was a cracking watch, and it was a tough decision to sell. However it had to go to find a Grand Seiko.

Since I’ve been wearing the Speedy Pro, I’ve found that I like more traditional watches rather than large divers that the P.O. is.

The P.O. is fantastic, but I’m thinking the AT will
Ultimately be more versatile and the silver dial version just looks amazing and will give me a nice alternative to the Speedy.

I always love how the hands and hour markers catch the light against the opaline dial:)

Always surprises me how light this is but my favorite AT -

Post your Omega Aqua Terra pictures !

I’ve always admired the versions with the applied date border, very smart in the black and white dials. Just not keen on the shorter hour hand - can this be changed to match the style of the minute?

Very versatile watch, however one that I think the new Rolex OP 39 Black just pips in my wish list.

Although I know the AT would be 1/2 the price. They are becoming harder to find.

I agree with you on the shorter hands on the earlier models - they never seem to look quite right.
Sadly I've never understood why watch manufacturers don't produce hands with the minute hand extending out to the minute markers.
This applies not only Omega but many of the Rolex models have hands that don't hit the minute markers.
Does anyone know why this is done besides saving a tiny amount of Gold?

I owned this version for a while and agree it is the best of the bunch. Never really liked the subsequent versions as much.

To answer one of the questions, the Skyfall reference is not due to it being limited edition, rather it being one of the models worn by Daniel Craig for much of the film.

My grey dial. Such a versatile watch depending on the light, and the strap/bracelet. I think the darker dials allow the applied indices to stand out more too.

Stunning. This grey dial with the vertical stripes is definitely my favourite. When I have the spare funds the 38.5mm will be the one I'm looking out for.

The AT was my first 'Daddy' watch purchase. For me the 8500 is the best iteration mainly due to the bevelled window. Sporty and dressy. The opaline and skyfalls are the most desirable. The opaline can look anything from electric silver to a deep cream, it alters to the colours of its surroundings nicely. I ended up selling it to fund a new purchase, didn't miss it initially but very much appreciate it now. The 41.5 wore quite big on my 6.5 in wrists, I prob would be kept of I had bought the 39.5. Bottom line it's a great watch, you won't be disappointed.

The >15,000 Gauss(bumblebee) is my favourite, just the right amount of fun.

Not mine sadly, pic taken from ABTW.

What's the story with the quartz version of the AT, is it limited to certain sizes / versions or can all be got in quartz?

They only released certain dials and sizes in quartz. Some were exclusive to the mechanical models.

My first ‘quality’ watch and it will never be moved on. I also believe it the best iteration of the AT.

I see from the thread that I'm not the only one to have / have had this model!

The first expensive watch I bought about 20 years ago. I still enjoy wearing it.
