Not to my taste either, but I can't help but admire the skill.

I love it - seen it before and contemplated getting my black bay red done. Got a quote of £3k to get it done. That was head only. That was the end of that lol
Damn, Bram got skills. I can see me falling down a Youtube engraving video rabbit hole this afternoon.
It’s better than sticking a load of gaudy diamonds all over it. I certainly admire the skill.
I would never get that done to any watch I own...but if I saw it on someone else’s I would probably be gazing endlessly at it in awe.
Lovely quality workmanship

Wonderful talent and skill, but not for me though.
Admire the skill but it's a no from me.
EDIT: I hadn't seen gettinon's comment so wasn't copying!!
Marvellous skills, awful end product. Why don't they make watches from the same material as the cutting tool, they'd be scratch free forever!
F.T.F.A.
The cutting tools are probably not rust proof and would be brittle but definitely very difficult to scratch.
I don't know what the answer to the scratch problem is. The more scratch resistant an material is, usually the more brittle it is. This would lead to chips and snapped lugs.
The most scratch resistant material is diamond. But its expensive and would have to be synthetically produced to get a big enough piece for a watch body. But again, it's brittle.
I guess its a compromise between hardness and malleability. In engines, bearing surfaces are case hardened whereby the outer 10 thou is treated to harden it but the centre remains malleable and resistant to breakage. I don't know if something like that can be done to stainless. But still it could be scratched by tool steel or a diamond.
The other alternative is to not worry about scratches and just get your case and bracelet refinished or replaced every 5-10 years or so.
Not my cup of tea but most impressive.
That must be a nerve wracking job - imagine cocking it up toward the end!
Impressive skills , not the kind of job you want to do first thing Monday morning after a heavy weekend on the pop.
Don’t like it one bit but you have to admire the craftsmanship.
I love some of the work this lady does - Joanne Ryall

Especially the water related work - fishes and sea.
Not to my liking but excellent skill and craftsmanship.

Why does that sound like a joke?
How many people can engrave at that size and quality, with the tools and the balls to do it on watches costing several thousand pounds? Very few I'd guess, so assuming that it would take a couple of weeks to design, and engrave £3k sounds quite realistic.
Beautiful craftsmanship, think I have a candidate for this.....
There must be a market for it. But yes not my taste personally.

This really is exceptional craftsmanship, and he makes working in stainless look easy!
Joanne Ryall did my engraving and thoroughly impressed with the whole process I was.

The OP`s video is utterly mesmerising.
