    I was chatting to Karl via PM a few weeks ago and he did chat about how ill he was.

    This is very sad new. RIP.

    Sorry to come back to the forum after all this time to find that Karl has just recently passed away.

    When I first arrived here and started posting years ago, I received a lot of very likely well justified flak back for being way too word-bound and long overwinded (and too probably to some degree may easily still be), but Karl always had a kind word for me, and never a negative one, and it was always appreciated, at the time and still.

    Karl also once sent me a Zulu to experiment on dealing with the additional back piece, and that led me to find that I could just wear the extra back piece of NATOs and such under my wrist instead of under my watch or having to cut it off, and that's worked for me ever since.

    Well, given that Karl has now left on “a journey all of us will someday make”, I'll wish him well on that, and hope it is going better for him than we can possibly know about from “our tenuous perch in this world”
