    Stolen in Edinburgh

These watches went missing from my office some time over the weekend (1-2 September)
I would appreciate a heads up if anyone sees them.

First up is my Seiko darth Tuna sbbn013 serial 950124 on a distinctive vintage baseball leather strap

Also easily recognisable is this 47mm bicolour Hamilton & Inches marine style watch. There is no serial number but this is a prototype that I assembled so it is the only one of them out there.

The eta movement also has distinctive decoration

Oh no! Any explanation from colleagues about how these have quietly vanished??

I'll keep an eye out in darkest Fife.

A member of the public was seen in my room and we have cctv of him approaching and leaving when confronted by one of my colleagues, but unfortunately my room wasn't covered by the system

My goodness, I'd have thought things would be a bit tighter than that, especially when you'd have customers' watches too. Two pretty distinctive watches, hopefully they'll turn up.

    Thanks,
Customer watches are locked away elsewhere when I'm not in so there is never any risk to them. Guess I need to do the same with my own things in future.

I've never understood thieving where people have been brought up just to take what belongs to others. I hope you get them back.

Would it be more useful to post a CCTV mugshot rather than the watches? Be easier to find the culprit than the watches?

    Sorry to read this, Ian.

Hopefully the thieving scrote will get caught and punished, but he’ll probably have gotten rid of the watches by then.

Thieving is a crime that’s as old as mankind and it’ll never go away, harsher punishment might help.

Just read this Ian, these opportunists have some brass neck. Your H&I piece is distinctive so hopefully that will turn up at some point.
