    one of my favourite musicians - have a fair chunk of his recordings and every one is full of exceptional musicianship. There was a documentary on Sky Arts recently about Apostrophe and Overnite Sensation which was really interesting...

    Very sad day when he died - we lost a legend and the music world lost a little of the subversion it needs...

    I saw him live about thirty years ago. I was never a big fan but what a musician. The concert started exactly on time as well, how rare is that.

    I saw him too, and continue to see bands featuring ex members of his groups. He was a rare breed.

    Dwezil his son tours the UK every few years and is well worth seeing.
