Had the call to collect Harrods Tudor. Being up in Scotland this presents slight logistical issue as they only accept purchase in store. Any members near there could pick it up for me and pop it in the post?

Blocky case, too shouty, bezel often looks wrong against dial, great clasp but too long. Plus the price.
Interesting. Seen a couple and never struck me as that shouty. Square case is a thing tho hmmbut then I love Tudor’s and they can be described as blocky I guess

Anyone know if the Harrods comes with a NATO? I know Basel 18 onwards the normal models no longer come with the extra strap. Just wondered if the one does still?

Oh well that’s good to know. I think the black bay blue suits the bracelet, but I don’t think the black bay red does, and I’m not sure the green will either. I think it’s the gilt on the dial...a steel bracelet is too much - clashes with the bronze coloring. The blue doesn’t have the gilt markings. Can see the green looking great on the NATO so good it comes with it.

Harrods just confirmed it does come with the extra NATO. Weird that a LE is same price as a normal black bay and comes with NATO whereas normal black bay doesn’t now, so basically the “special” edition is cheaper than a BBR!
Confirmed the number of the watch is 743, so still not many of these sold. Trickle feed production with no specific limit on numbers but be interesting to see how many get sold before they stop making them.

Looking good Rusty, like others have said, I would give up on the Hulk notion and stick with this and if numbers remain low that adds a certain special factor to the watch.

I much prefer the classic oyster case dimensions on the Tudor. I find the Rolex colours more appealing though.

It’s well known I have a few black bays already, but the more I think about it, I like the B.B. shape so this makes sense more I guess. Matching straps to a green will be an interesting game too - looking forward to that. Once again thanks to all who offered to facilitate pick up. It’s appreciated and humbling.

Friend gave me the Harrods this afternoon. Interestingly he had his Hulk on. Very different watches, and strange as it seems I’m in agreement with Ally (first time for everything right?). I think the Hulk is a bit shouty for me. Love the Harrods Tudor tho, so green box ticked
Rbear has one in Glasgow on SC for RRP if you want one, it’s unworn.
