    GS 20th Anniversary Watch

    Just found this on YouTube
Not keen on the review style. But the watch is stunning to me.

Grand Seiko might consider pulling-back on the endless variety of 'Anniversary' and 'Limited Edition' models. There are way too many of them, so that it's hard to keep up.

It looks even better in reality than on the pictures, but they should work on the thickness.

Me too, I stare at and look at my Save the Ocean Samurai in many different ways. This must be awesome, leagues above the Samurai.

I think you have mistyped 'Omega' there 😉

I spent ages on a sunny day comparing this against a highbeat Peacock GMT.. I went for the Peacock (eventually) but wished I could have taken both...

Personally, don't have an issue with this. More variety, more choice!

Different approach to certain other brands of course.

I think part of the reason GS are renowned for their detail and dial / case craftsmanship is due to the limited editions they produce.

Been looking at acquiring a GS for so long and just when I thought I had it down to the snowflake spring drive or the GMT Hi-beat, this throws a spanner in the works

Going against the grain here, but for me this is in the ‘nicely crafted, but gopping’ bucket.

    Reminds me of the

    ROLEXROLEX
    OLEXROLEXR
    LEXROLEXRO
    EXROLEXROL
    XROLEXROLE

dials. The last thing any GS Watch needs is more logos/branding.

I agree, but I think it's done with more pizazz on the GS.
