    I'm blaming you lot!

6 years ago I was very happy wearing my Tag Aquaracer..... then I stumbled across this forum.

I've caught the bug from you guys and it shows no signs of ending soon.

I currently have a Speedmaster, Seamaster, Planet Ocean 45.5, Breitling Colt 44 and a GMT 16710.... oh and Tag is still there but never gets any wrist time!

So what's next I'm really after a Seadweller or a Sub.

What's up for the chop.... well I'll keep the Planet Ocean if I can get an Orange Bezel and a rubber strap for it. The Seamaster will be going soon - I've never really bonded with it.

So thanks guys - I'm still loving this hobby!

Good job - sounds like you are just embarking on the journey 😄

Sounds like you've got into the spirit of things. I had quite a few watches last year but I'm in the process of paring things back for better watches.

    Sounds about right!

Sounds familiar. I started with a speedmaster automatic that I had had for 20 years without giving it much thoughts but since joining this forum I have bought a Tag Aquaracer, Speedmaster reduced (now sold), Speedmaster pro and am currently waiting for my ultraman to be delivered to the AD.

Very jealous of your Ultraman. One of the best looking Speedmasters!

"You have much to learn grasshopper" sounds like you're only at the very beginning of your journey joking aside though I started off with a Tag Heuer 2000 Professional chronograph then my grand dads old Omega and still have both along with my SubC bought with the two grand my dear old dad left me in his will. Enjoy the journey, nice collection.

Sounds like a very familiar path.

Sadly, I only have myself to blame!!!!!!!
Though, I do blame my AD for introducing me to Patek Philippe, L&S etc and a new world of Horology.
Up until that point, I was very happy with my Rolex pieces.

I think it's getting bad..... I have a spare 78360 bracelet so rather than sell it I want to to buy a loose head only Rolex to go with it!

My wife thinks I'm mad but it makes complete sense to me!!

Indeed sales corner here is brim full of ideas !!! And the incoming thread. For years I dreamed of owning a Rolex. No one said one would never be enough.
Thankfully I don’t have the budget to dabble in the world of patek & Lange etc.
If I had serious money to spend, I’ve no doubt a serious chunk would be on wrist apparel

It certainly is a form of addiction. Like you I started off down the TAG route, not knowing any better, in the days before Internet or forums. Still got my old TAG SEL chrono from the 90's. Aquaracer's seem like quite a nice design. Maybe you'll keep it long term to look back on where it all started. Your current collection sounds great, and I'm sure it will expand further yet.

I know whereof you speak. When I joined this site last year I had never heard of Blancpain, and had never wanted a radiomir. It is a deep and steep rabbit hole.

    Nice!

    Nice one!!

At least you have managed to keep yours, I’ve flipped so many since being here I don’t think my collection stays the same for more than a couple of weeks at best😢
Nice collection and a seadweller would fit quite well now I think?!?

Good luck and here’s to another 6 years and another 6-10 watches in the collection!!

Only six watches in six years, you have shown proper restraint and have it well under control.

Well the Sub deal fell through....... but I have managed to source another that I'll be very happy with!!

As the Planet Ocean and Seamaster haven't had any wrist time recently they will be up chop.

Hopefully that will be me until 2019
