Jobyn over at OF uploaded a great unboxing video, for those that don't mind spoilers well worth a view. I've even changed my mind about "the blob" not being worthwhile after watching this.

Thanks for linking the video Lee.
Im a big fan of packaging (not just watches) and really like this one, nice touch with the UV Ultraman in the lid.
On that note around 20 years or so ago the Ernest Jones in Ealing Broadway had these for sale alongside the regular speedy. Both priced at around £1500. EJ struggled to shift the Snoopies so I got it for £1250 but struggled to bond with it so traded it with Austin Kaye for an Aerospace. I wonder if the Speedy is worth more now......
It does look very nice but too new for me, saying that I'm loving the DON - it's the little things for me!
Got the call this afternoon that mine has arrived in the UK and I just needed to confirm the pick up location.
Ultraman comes to the Peak District:)
Mine landed Monday. Enjoying it massively.

If you or anyone who missed out on the Speedy Ultraman, Watchfinder have just put one up on site with the small margin markup over RRP of £7.6k.
With £10k mark ups on Rolex Pepsi and £9k on Daytona, suppose £3k mark up on a NATO speedy seems average in today’s fools market.
A second Ultraman is available from Watchfinder at the moment, currently two in stock at £7.6k and no doubt a couple more in their intrays.
Who fancies taking one off their hands with a £3k mark up over RRP, you do get a standard speedy with a nice orange hand, NATO strap and what looks like an orange chocolate box.
Only jesting with the above but this speedy is no silver snoopy.
You appear to be on some kind of personal crusade against the Omega Ultraman. What you need to remember is that there are, in fact, only 2012 of these little buggers on the entire surface of the planet. If you insist on comparing it to the Snoopy then I would suggest at least waiting untiil the market decides Its fate and not wishing schadenfreude upon those fortunate enough to have picked one up.
Merry Christmas 😊
Yes. Flasher, give it a rest. We get that you don't like it but it is getting monotonous.
Christmas, Humbug!
Your Schadenfreude comment is somewhat misplaced within the context of my response and to others who have registered their dislike or irrelevance of this model within the Speedmaster history.
I have no grumble with any fan boy who wishes to add a homage to a TV character and my Silver Snoopy quote is in relation to the number of buyers who always quote the Silver Snoopy price surge when any Omega LE speedmaster hits the store. I have commented that the Speedy Snoopy versions will always command high premiums due to the genuine NASA link with that character.
As a Chelsea supporter I certainly have a touch of Schadenfreude when catching the Spurs results on a Saturday!
Nice looking watch as the original ST was
I think it will follow along similar lines
Probably selling at roughly 1K above RRP after the initial rush.
Anyone here with an Ultraman who can give an opinion now they have one "in the flesh"?
I was a bit underwhelmed by the first Speedy Tuesday - although there were bits I liked, as a package I didn't think it worth the premium so I moved mine on.
It looks very good in the flesh and I like the colours (particularly the chrono seconds hand) which I think are just about right and not too much in the face. The stepped dial is a nice touch. Ultraman silhouette in the subdial is not immediately noticeable (a good thing IMHO) until you look closely. The NATO strap suits the watch very well but not my wrist. It makes the watch sit too high (as I posted earlier), even if I loop it under the watch only once. I wanted to try it on the leather strap that came with it but haven't managed to take it to OB for a strap change yet. They told me not to try it myself as they've seen the scratched lugs on my 60th Anniversary Speedy lol.
I like ST1 more than the Ultraman. Having said that, for quite a while after getting ST1, I preferred the 60th Anniversary Speedmaster and didn't wear the former much. That changed when I got the Snoopy strap (thanks to recommendations on this forum) for the ST and now wear it more often than the latter. Don't know if the same would happen with ST2 after putting it on a different strap/bracelet.
Worth the premium or not ... only you can decide. Both Speedy Tuesdays are essentially the same watch as a standard modern Speedy Pro. AFAIK the differences are only cosmetic and in the presentation. Despite knowing this, I like them (and the '57 LE) far more than a normal Speedy, which I don't own btw.
I got an email about a week ago to say my Ultraman was in the U.K. and would be sent to the dealer shortly. The plan was to sell my Speedy MkII Rio edition to fund the Ultraman.
The problem is, I think I have now realised that I actually prefer my Rio... it’s probably one of the nicest Olympic edition watches Omega have released, to my eye. I did have a bit of disposable set aside just in case I couldn’t stomach selling the Rio, but best laid plans went out the window at the weekend when I decided to buy a motorbike spur of the moment !!
I reckon I’ll probably end up telling the AD I’ll pass when they call.
Plenty must have been picked up Ive been offered about 15 in the last few weeks
RIAC
They learned from the first edition that people get a bit narkly when you promise something and it arrives late. Especially when the first one is delivered 4 months before the last.
It very much looks like they've dedicated a bigger production slot for it, given how fast they are appearing compared to the first ST
