We got married on Friday, we are having a mini moon in nice.
Dose anyone have any recommendations on anything to do.
We are stopping at the negresco hotel so it's a 10 minuet walk into to town.
Thanks lee

Monaco is a must and can be done in a day, helicopter would be special but it's only 30 mins on the train. The marina is unbelievable and a walk up to the palace before grabbing lunch at one of the tiny restaurants up there.
Maybe charter a yacht for the afternoon, there are plenty of marinas and anchorages along that part of the coast.
Negresco, what a beautiful hotel, another vote for Monaco, if you want to visit the Casino you will need a jacket, Rosie’s bar in the square is a must if you like F1.
The old ball too

Nice car museum in Monaco also, worth a look.
Go to Llandudno N Wales.
The promenade at Nice is based on the one in Llandudno...almost a direct copy.
Cheaper too...
The Chèvre d’or for a lunch one day, I would think near Eze I think

Get the train to Theoule sur Mer and eat at Le Repere.
A walk through Vieux Nice to the park above is a pretty pleasant way to spend an hour or two and a trip to Eze, for more beautiful views.
I would really recommend a restaurant called Oliviera for dinner. It's in the old town and would be a roughly 20min walk from your hotel.
The owner of the restaurant grows his own olives and the whole meal is filled with him coming out and showing you different kinds of olive oils to try with the meal. Some pressed early in the season, some late etc and it is amazing how it completely changes the dish. Really good fun and somewhere I've recommended to friends before and they've enjoyed it.
It's a small place who don't take walk ins, so you will have to email/call them to book. If it's too short notice for that then I think you can just turn up for lunch but you'd need to check.
Enjoy the trip.
Nice is nice but a bit meh IMO. Very much depends of what you are looking for. Cannes is a few minutes away on a train, so is MC as suggested above. Villefranche-sur-Mer which is next stop towards MC has a sandy strip/beach and nice restaurants, it gets very busy on the w.ends though. If you're looking for some umph and funds permitting, one can always hire a nice sounding drop top and explore M6098 and beyond ie towards Menton or St Tropez. La Baoli and VIP Room in Cannes are highly recommended (there is a whole street of traditional restaurants in the old part of town if it's your thing) alongside Jimmy'z and Sass 'Cafe' in the MC, not forgetting Cafe de Paris terrace next to the Casino. In any case plenty to choose from for all tastes incl nudist beach on the left tip of Eze bay

Last year I booked my (work) trip to the Monaco Yacht Show late, couldn’t get a room in Monaco at any price and ended up staying in Nice and getting the train in every day. Long and short is, I don’t like Monaco much at all but ended up falling in love with Nice. Found a few amazing seafood restaurants in the old town. I’ll be staying in Nice again for next month’s MYS visit.
I own a trust and corporate service business. We host a number of yacht-owning companies for clients. We’ve had a stand at the show in previous years but this year will be there for a couple of days just as a walkabout presence. Happy to meet for a beer if you have a spare 1/2 hour- I’m curious to know what you do!
