Much difference?

I have an option on a new Explorer 1 tomorrow. It’s not a watch i’ve been able to try before. I believe it wears big at 39mm? I have a 38.5mm Aqua Terra which I think wears nicely, I know it’s only 0.5mm but it’s a watch I would like to have. Does anyone own or have experience of both watchs ?.

I have both of these and the Explorer does wear noticeably bigger due to there being more dial. I'm not sure whether the lug to lug measurement is greater as well.
