    TOC watch

    TZ,

My partner has picked this up from work today. I was quite impressed as it is radio controlled. Does anyone know anything about the quartz movement in it? In the sheet supplied it mentions that the movement is 'highly accurate' could it be thermo-comoensated?

Why would it need to be thermo compensated if it's radio controlled though? :)

It apparently checks for radio signals at 3,4& then 5am. If no signal received it then waits again until the following day.

Probably it would be overkill to also have a thermo compensated quartz movement on a radio controlled watch though. I suspect the "highly accurate movement" description just relates to the fact that it's radio controlled.

No problem. Looks like a nice beater watch.
