Own(ed) Scurfa, Bertucci, MHD, Bradley, Karlskrona, D Hodge...

So may Micro brands that I'd love to see / own...

    Helson
    H20
    Zelios
    Ocean
    Boldr
    Gruppo Gamma
    NTH

And many more that im yet to discover!

I could probably be excused for thinking Zenith have been a micro brand and still are.

    Roger Taylor

Roger Taylor RLT watch. NOS 1960’s case Chinese movement. Bought new in 2010 by me. Super reliable and very slim for fitting under tight cuffs.

Currently wearing this micro brand, very well known in these parts.

I also think Scurfa and the Marine Chronometer Company are excellent

I have a couple of Kick Starter watches, a mix of hit and miss

Don't have a photo as it's been sold on but my Borealis Seahawk in blue was so nice that I ended up getting a Tudor Pelagos (the watch it is based on).

I find that they can be great in finding out if a particular "original" watch calls to you or not - at a price that won't cost too much to sell on if it doesn't.

Lovely, and the hands are matching the rest of the design (unlike in 3-handed Haskells IMO).

    Holy thread resurrection Batman......

All the above I rate very highly on build quality & time keeping.

I have also owned a DeepBlue & I can vouch for the build quality/time keeping of them.

A few of my favourite micros:

Geckota C-01 Chronograph: has to be seen in the flesh, the finish is breathtakingly good. Within 24 hours of arrival my wife had blagged it!

Straton "Legera" Bullhead Chrono - another wonderfully well finished watch, snaffled recently from SC:

Lanna Klockor "Starfish" supercompressor - absurdly nicely designed and executed watch for the cost of a decent night in the pub:

Heritor "Edgard" diver - blatant Zenith "homage", but tidily done and hilariously affordable; original bracelet 2nd rate though:

Spinnaker "Cahill" - I chose (and love) a marmite colour scheme on this, but subtler versions also exist - beautiful quality in the flesh:

Undone "Aqua" bespoke - loved the idea of specifying my own watch, and very happy indeed with the result; could have done with some lume on the white skelly hands though! -

I love what microbrands are doing (and have a couple of Helgrays and a Shield on order as well!) - I love having a varied collection of watches that the big names couldn't afford to risk making, and I for sure couldn't afford to buy!

    Vaer A5 bought via Kickstarter

I have worn this for 10 days straight, which for me is very unusual. I really like this watch. The overall service and package are excellent

Some great watches shown here some of them I own myself.
Dug this Benarus Moray out of a drawer, a forgotten favourite from a few years ago.
