Ottoman beds & Decent couches - yes I know its not mumsent

So I should be moving again and will have to buy some new furniture. Would anyone have any positive experiences with ottoman beds and where from?

Also I realise there is a myriad of offerings in couches as well, but any recommendations, or shall I just go into my local DFS and buy what is available?

    thanks

DFS don’t really sell sofas. They sell finance with which you receive a free sofa.

Go to a few of your good local independents. Far better value for money.

For the lift up bed. This is as good as any. https://www.hillsfurniturestore.co.u...ategory=298,44

I put a lot of effort into looking for an ottoman bed about 5 years ago and eventually gave up; settled for a sofa bed in the study.
    In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.

We bought one of their beds when the company was called thestoragebed.co.uk. They have now been rebranded, or been bought out, and the website is:

    https://www.furl.co.uk/storage-beds/range

Lots of options to choose from and lots of storage under the bed. We ended up getting a mattress from elsewhere.

    Recommended.

Sorry cant recall what the model names are, but iirc the bases are constant with only the headboards differing across the range.

We have a super king model that we bought from an independent retailer in Rotherham. A kaydian allendale.

Best money we’ve ever spent (well along with the mattress). We’d had problems for years and went through numerous ones but couldn’t find anything comfortable. This filled two purposes with the huge storage. Only thing I would recommend is a solid base as opposed to one with lats. Far superior comfort in my opinion.

We're a fan of Ottoman beds, slightly less storage than just under a normal bed, but much more convenient.

We've a cheap one from ikea in the guest room which is great & one from https://www.housingunits.co.uk/ in the master.

    another vote for Tempur.
They make different mattresses so go try them .
Not cheap but you spend enough time in bed to warrant the price.
