As a bike jacket, it's pretty poor.
More of a (overpriced) fashion accessory...sorry.
If you want warmth (on a bike), then it's textile. Rukka for the win.
Only soloution is to wear plenty of decent quality base layers.
Are there any Leather Experts here..
I need your opinion.
My new Belstaff Speed master is in concern. (Oh I'm a Belstaff fan).
I wore it for the first time and it felt so cold. Outside temperature 12°c.
It looks good, feels good and the new fit is great too. So, look good but the freeze.
In comparison to my older, Belstaff Panther. It feels completely different. First of all the leather, both Cow skin. The gauge is about the same. Even though the finish is different or the tanning. The Speed master has a shine. There is a difference in the lining. But not enough to make that much difference.
And again in comparisons to my other leather jackets, Reiss Biker jacket in Lamb skin if fine. Even though its a summer jacket. I also have 2 Lewis leather jackets in Cow skin but a heavier gauge are perfectly fine for the colder months.
So, has anyone experience this or what do you think.
Opinions and advice please..
