I enquired about the ploprof clasp and tapering mesh recently. Nearly £900 new from Omega. So aftermarket may be wise.

Steinhart do a lovely mesh with ratchet adjustment. Come in three sizes to provide even greater accuracy in sizing.

Watchgecko do some nice mesh straps......https://www.watchgecko.com/metal-wat...l-watch-straps ............ https://www.watchgecko.com/metal-wat...l-watch-straps

Also worth checking out some of the Far East (China!) straps on Fleabay as some are a lot better quality than their price implies. And some aren't of course!

The mesh on my Apple Watch is superb - The magenetic clasp makes it infinitely adjustable. Just brilliant with the hot weather we’ve been having. I’d like to find an equivalent that’s made for normal spring bar lugs.

+1, about to get one from there. Looks like they do the same ones as Watchgecko for significantly less.

Yes this one came from eBay, I intended to try it first before splashing out on an Omega mesh strap. Now I can't see the point of changing it!

Thanks for help,it's the sliding clasp that seems to be the sticking point. The Steinhart seems favourite but I think my Crepas Scuba 500 has similar and I do find it quite sharp edged but will give it a go.many thanks, Meridian.
