So clever my foot fell off.
The recovery of the body and Bluebird was done with the full support of the family. They (widow, daughter etc.) were finally able to lay him to rest in a Coniston cemetery.

Only because it had been found by divers and was therefore vulnerable. They'd have rather it had remained undiscovered.
I'm a big fan of heritage machinery but am not following this and have no intention to visit.
I love this, such an iconic vessel and a part of our history.
My Grandfather was at the launch of the Bluebird in 1955 as he worked for Vickers at the time.
This is fantastic. I have really enjoyed watching the project come together, and it looks fantastic on the water.
