Look at the date window and font for a start and compare it with a real one. Then there's the Rolex coronet on the dial and bracelet, the shade of blue is all wrong.

Oh yeah, and the seller has 0 feedback and joined eBay a week ago, which is reason in itself to avoid.

But the bidding is still up to £8,350. Unbelievable!

I asked an eBay seller what model and serial number was on the “guarantee” card that accompanied a “Rolex” box he has listed. (It was found with the effects of a deceased relative. Yeah, right!). Rather than just tell me, he asked why I wanted to know. Go figure, as they say.

Getting a fellow crook or mate to bid adds a degree of legitimacy to the auction..if it sells to them because nobody falls for it then its a simple matter of cancelling the transaction - hopefully this is the case here and not because some genuine person has been duped..

eBay really need to get a hold of these fake auctions. Far too many of them happening. You shouldn’t be able to sell goods over 1k in value without 50+ feedback imo

I could never buy a Rolex of EBay. The risks are too high.

I’ve bought 2 and sold 4 with no issue
