    Marloe Coniston

Have been following Marloe since the launch of their first watch, the Cherwell on Kickstarter a few years ago. Their fifth model, Coniston, is due for release around October. 40mm and, like all of their other models, handwound and, this time, utilising a Miyota movement (a la their Derwent model).

Anyone else looking forward to this?

Thanks for sharing. Nice to see they have created 3 watches. I liked Haskell.

The Haskell is their 4th model and the Coniston will be their 5th.

I think they have created some nice timepieces. I especially like the Haskell and Derwent models.

I agree. I like how their models are all original in design. The two video clips on their website (re the forthcoming Coniston) clearly show the time, passion, commitment and dedication that the two of them put in to their ventures. Puts some other microbrands to shame.

Agreed. They seem to have a clear vision, beautiful designs, passion, and a good working business model so I hope they will be around for many years to come.

Very reasonable prices for some rather pretty watches

Yesterday they launched a very limited edition number of 10 Cherwells (their debut model). All sold out within a few minutes. This brand really thinks through; that's 10 lucky people who are going to be very happy.

The two videos are great, all shot and edited by Gordon (one half of the brand). I have been super impressed with their professionalism and their drive, passion and commitment etc is clearly genuine. Oliver, the brand's other 50% is a very personable fellow too. Just pleased that this thread may help increase their fan-base a little.

I must add that I am not connected to the brand; just a fan who likes to promote matters that are worth recognising.

Really enjoyed both of their videos. The approach to marketing and pricing seems right. Although competition is tough and there are too many better alternatives in that price range.
