I’m trying to avoid looking Tony . My car has been turfed out of the garage to create a gym... which means there’s space for another bike... so I don’t need the temptation of your photos.

hhhh, what a picture. Looks absolutely fantastic.
All of you guys with your fancy pics and here I am thinking I'm going to sell mine. 4,250 miles and haven't touched it since October. Think it might be wise to sell and then pick up another one winter 2021/spring 2022 once we've moved house.
If anyone is looking for a top spec BMW R1200 GSA triple black with 3 year service pack let me know
A massive difference Dave. Not what I’m used to and, as you know, not remotely what I was looking for. Damn those pesky good looks (the bike’s, not Kerry’s).
I’ve only managed around 80 miles on it since I collected it due to the poor weather (I didn’t want to get it wet), so early days but I’ve got a bit more used to the riding position, and the motor is a peach, but it all still feels very odd.
Time will tell, but I can’t see it being a long termer. I knew that when I bought it though, but wanted to give it a go.
We all have to grow up sometimes, Dave

Cheers Tony, I'm really happy, very glad I went for the red in the end - it has a richness and depth that doesn't quite come out in pictures.
Shame rain stopped play in the end today, I was thoroughly enjoying myself!
That exhaust is lovely, love the little pops and bangs on the overrun, I could listen to it all day
Had a nice ride tonight around our local coast (beach meadows to western head in Nova Scotia). My riding buddies couldn’t make it as it was a last minute jaunt but had that works out we would have been in the Forest on the trails.
Managed to make it home just before the sun set.
A group of 5 of us did Ron Haslam premier experience last year.
None of us had done a track day type experience before.
It was excellent. Very little faffing around. Turn up, they give you all the gear and a bike, off you go with instructor who "tows you round" picking up the pace on each lap.
Highly recommended Tony.
Yes - and one of the group ended up getting a Premier Plus 1 on 1 session when someone didn't show. Actually - this ended up being quite tiring as you're always on it. The Premier format is 2 riders to 1 instructor and you take turns being right behind the instructor. The other rider follows.
Very exhilerating and amazing how fast you end up going.

Certainly a taller seat height than your average bike. For us taller riders it offers such a comfortable riding position however.
I picked a few of these up back when they were being given almost given away. Have turned out to be the best investment I’ve ever made ! The problem is I’d be hard pressed to ever sell one.
Today I popped into the dealer to pick up the bits that came off the Speed Twin and had a £100 voucher to spend so bought a lovely pair of branded gloves.
Wife: "Why didn't you buy a new jacket?"
Me: "They are over £400 and I like the one I've got"
Wife: "It's really old and dated"
Me: "It's classic and yes getting on a bit bit I'd call it nicely broken in!"
Wife: "You've had it 25 years!!"
The last point I couldn't deny, but it's a Dainese I paid a lot of money for back in the day (probably 1995 when I had a red ZX6R!).
So here it is with a younger me picking up my Ducati Monster in 2003 ...
So...does she have a point, dated or classic?!

My Dainese leather is still my go to jacket.
Been crashed in 4 times, repaired twice, and I'm on my third zip. Keep promising myself a newbie...but there's not much out there that ticks all the boxes.
The new Rukka laminate is a cool bit of kit, but blimey, it's heavy. Unfortunately, the market is crammed with overpriced, designer labeled poor spec tat at the mo.
Will stick with the Dainese for now.
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.
That's a fantastic jacket (and the right colour for your new bike), no doubt even better now with a good few years' wear on it. However, I can't see that one jacket will suffice for all year riding, or even most year riding - you need something for the summer and another something for the winter.
I’ve got a 20 year old Belstaff leather jacket (made before they turned into a fashion brand). It’s still going strong, despite a high speed low side on track .
It does appear to have shrunk a bit over the years as others have found, is this a natural property of leather I wonder?
