Compared to the BMW's of old which required both feet on the ground if you blipped the throttle while stationary, the 1200 is silky smooth. :D

Oh they weren't that bad...

Perhaps after 35 years of boxer ownership I've got used to it.

(I'm still regularly riding one of my old boxers so have a point of reference)
