Did you get a date for the mod 2 yet or is he going get a few lessons in first?

According to the booking tool he could do his mod 2 tomorrow, but needs to get leave from work agreed. If only he'd done it before he moved jobs as his previous employer was doing Furlough Fridays.

As the training for mod 1 was me shouting as he rode around a deserted pub car park, I'm wondering if bike to bike intercom and me following and yelling as he rides about might work.

I love trackdays (well, loved, itís been a while) but theyíre not a cheap day out, especially if you end up paying for two!

I found that they spoiled the gun of riding non the road for me though which isnít something Iíd wish on a newish rider.

Now Iím older (and slower) and, having spent the last decade or so mainly riding dirt bikes, i am enjoying getting out on the public roads at a slightly more sedate pace.

Ticked past 18k miles this week on the GS. Plan to keep it at least another year, and possibly longer - as I can't really see that any other bike would be better suited to what I want.

cracking photo and good to see he has his beret shaped properly and looking good.
You see a lot with the capbadge over the left ear nowadays and looking like Andy Capp.

The army was protesting in Westminster today on behalf of the paras and others.

Thanks everyone... Iím back home, but feeling pretty weak, and lucky to still be here.
Apparently I was at level 4 heart failure for 2 days, and it was all touch and go. They believe my heart has been weakened by the Chemo I was on back in 2019. Iíve just got to take it easy now and not rush.

    Onwards and upwards.👍

The lad's Mod 2 is on the 25th.

Here's hoping we can fit another new clutch by then

On a lighter note why do National Express find it OK to dump the contents of their coach toilet at 70mph which results in a spray of hopefully mostly water over any cars or motorcycles in the vicinity?

This must have popped up as I was typing my comment so I missed it earlier.

Glad to hear you're home. Sounds like a very close call. Please do take it easy and get well!
