    Steinhart 39 Red/Blue on a Nato

Wondering if anyone has a Steinhart Ocean One 39 GMT on a NATO. Currently trying this out from a friend who hasn’t really gelled with it. Thought it would be very comfy on a NATO.

I could yes, I just wanted to try it on a nato and only had a couple lying about from a different watch which as you’ve noticed is not quite the right size. I plumped for a rubber strap in the end but it would definitely suit the right nato.

Rubber isn’t a bad shout I’ve got one I took off my Avenger II might try that on it.

I know that it maybe too earlier for you to pass an opinion on the 39mm version.
But would be very interested in reading your thoughts, as I am considering getting one of these.

So initially had the 39 on loan from a friend to see whether I liked it. Didn’t take me long to realise I did. I have quite slim wrists so it really is the perfect size and weight for me. Love the look and quality feel of the watch.

Movement seems nice. Bezel is stiff to rotate and really offers too many clicks for a GMT but the truth is I won’t use it anyway. The only thing I don’t like otherwise is the cyclops but it’s not the end of the world.

As this thread suggests I found the bracelet strap a little uncomfortable but I think that’s mainly due to the changeable weather at the moment. So it’s now on a nato which I think looks cool. I’m now loving it even more.

It’s jumped in as a favourite in my collection, makes the Avenger II feel cumbersome.

I’ll definitely be buying another, jump in I don’t think you’ll regret it.
